About 6 month MVP rebuild and launch
Key Outcome
Stalled MVP rebuilt, restructured, and taken live

I led product, technical execution, GTM, product growth, and operational strategy at FoodBridge, restructuring the team and taking a stalled MVP through rebuild, launch, validation, and growth.

The Mandate

When I joined FoodBridge, the company had approximately 20 team members and an MVP that had remained stalled for months.

The challenge was not simply shipping more features. The organization needed clearer product strategy, better team structure, tighter execution, stronger product market alignment, and an actionable GTM model.

Organizational Restructuring

I redesigned the product and execution strategy and restructured the operating team. The team moved from approximately 20 people to 12 people.

The objective was not headcount reduction for its own sake. It was to create a smaller team with clearer ownership, stronger execution, and better alignment around the product.

Product Rebuild

I led the rebuild of the stalled MVP. The product was rebuilt and taken live within approximately six months.

My responsibility covered the intersection of product, technical execution, operations, growth, GTM, team coordination, and product strategy.

Product Model

The FoodBridge product I led was designed around improving the connection between food supply and demand. The platform supported workflows serving farmers and suppliers, individual buyers, cooperative organizations, and enterprise and institutional buyers.

The product relied primarily on backend business logic, marketplace workflows, and operational algorithms rather than AI. This project demonstrates systems thinking without generative AI.

Why This Project Matters

FoodBridge demonstrates an important part of my product leadership philosophy: product strategy and growth strategy cannot operate independently.

The product needed to be designed around who it serves, how supply works, how demand behaves, how transactions happen, how fulfillment works, and how the business acquires and retains users. I treated product, operations, GTM, and growth as parts of the same system.

Current Product

FoodBridge has continued evolving since my engagement. The current product includes neighborhood retail fulfillment, individual and institutional purchasing, structured food financing, bulk purchasing, and community support workflows.

Functionality introduced after my tenure is not attributed to me. This case study covers the product during my leadership, separate from FoodBridge's current evolution.
